About SJ

Subversive Jesus was created by a lapsed Catholic who found it funny* that the words of Jesus were a lot closer to the slogans of “radical” protestors than what was said by the most vocal “Christians” in public life who reflexively condemned them. 

He thought it would be funny† to see how those kinds of people reacted when confronted with the actual words of Jesus, so he put the words on a shirt (and a mug, and more…)

The Subversive Icon

We call it the Subversive Icon. It's a symbol of those who are spreading the word... subversively.
